Happy birthday, America!
Today we had a BBQ in the quad around our dorm. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and BBQ chicken, mmm…
Departed from campus around 430pm. Got to Dodger Stadium with plenty of time before first pitch at 610pm. A lot of the kids weren’t too excited about spending the evening watching baseball, but they actually behaved pretty well. It was exciting for me to be in another baseball stadium, since the only ones I’ve visited are Citizens Bank Park and Turner Field. I had a great time sitting with friends who enjoy baseball, and the weather was very pleasant. I’m back in the dorm now waiting for the kids to have room time and hopefully quiet down. Not sure what’s on the agenda for tomorrow, but I can pass the time til I get my schedule by uploading photos from today. =)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Independence Day with people they love and remembering those who have served!
