Friday, July 22, 2011 My roommate Amanda and I took two vans of kids to the Griffith Observatory last night. Traffic was horrible on Santa Monica Blvd. so we missed the sunset, but still the view of the city lights from the mountains was breathtaking. Aside from the awesome viewpoints, there were also lots of interesting and informative displays about space and our relationship with the universe. This is a picture of the model of our solar system. They still had Pluto up there, although you can’t see it. I’ll post more pictures as the day goes by. I still have pictures of Hollywood!
