I am a resident counselor at one of the top pre-college enrichment summer programs in the world and I'm calling Los Angeles, California, my home for the next six weeks.

I’m starting to get really sad. =( It’s almost time to say goodbye to the 150 students that we’ve been seeing every day for the past month and a half, and I’m especially sad to say goodbye to my girls.
On Wednesday night we went out with our RC groups for bonding time. My girls decided to go to Yamato for dinner, and then afterward I went to Diddy Riese with two of them. We (kind of) dressed up, took pictures, talked, I let them ask me questions about myself, etc. That’s me in the picture with two of my sweetest girls, Danae, from Greece, and Camila, from the Dominican Republic. Tomorrow we’re taking the kids to the airport in shifts and we stay with them until they make it through security. Not looking forward to it. =(
